We build the work.
We teach the capability.
A small, senior team that works directly with your team: building the foundation, teaching through real projects, and helping you become more capable with AI.
Not an agency you depend on. A partner who makes your team more capable.
We build what you need now, teach you how to keep going, and come back when you hit a roadblock or want to take it further.
Founder
Abraham Velazquez
Founder & Principal
I've spent 15+ years building products and teams at the intersection of technology and mission, from startups to nonprofits to enterprise tools used by millions.
Lunaroja exists because most organizations I've worked with have great ideas and the drive to accomplish them. AI gives small teams new leverage, but only when they have the judgment to turn an idea into a useful product, workflow, campaign, or decision.
I work directly with every client. We build the first version together, I teach the thinking behind it, and your team leaves better equipped to maintain and extend the work.
What makes us different
We build. We teach. We stay close.
Build the right foundation.
You get 15+ years of product and engineering experience applied directly to a real system your team can use now.
Learn through the real work.
We teach your team while we build, using your workflows and goals instead of generic demos or a one-size-fits-all workshop.
Get support without dependence.
You own the work and the knowledge behind it. Call us when you hit a roadblock, need a second set of eyes, or are ready for the next level.
You leave with a working system and a team that knows how to keep going.
How we work
Remote-first across the U.S. with Bay Area on-site options.
Most engagements happen over video, async review, and direct collaboration with the people doing the work.
In-person working sessions are available for teams nearby when being in the room will move the work faster.
1 to 3 day sprints for a focused build or systems reset, priced as premium execution work.
Working style
Opinionated. On purpose.
We have strong opinions about quality, the open web, and what actually works. That makes us effective partners for people who share those opinions, and an honest mismatch for those who don't.
